Pumpkin Seed Pesto Garlic Bread

Serving Size: 6 pieces garlic bread
Ingredients
1 ACE Bakery Garlic Demi-Baguette
1 1/2 cups basil, leaves only
2 small cloves of garlic, peeled
½ cup roasted pumpkin seeds
½ cup parmesan, grated
¼ lemon, juiced
3 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt.
Method
Prepare the bread: Preheat oven to 450 F. Bake one ACE Bakery Garlic Demi-Baguette as per baking instructions on box. Once fully cooked, set aside to cool slightly.
Make the pesto: In the bowl of a mortar and pestle OR a food processor, add basil, garlic, pumpkin seeds, parmesan, lemon, olive oil, and salt. Combine ingredients by smashing with a pestle OR pulse until a chunky pesto has formed. Taste and season with more salt if needed.
Finish the garlic bread: Spread pesto evenly over each garlic baguette. Cut into 6 even pieces. Optional: garnish with more parmesan. Eat right away!
